Projet réalisé par Alessandro Belosio, 23 ans, Italie

Description de l'auteur :

Mauto - Alessandro Belosio, 23 ans, Italie

Satisfying the needs of forty thousand customers of the model of a car means to find a compromise between the most introverted one and the most extroverted one, between the most conservative one and the most innovative one, between the most boring, creative, demanding one… The only thing they have in common is the average price, so the result won’t completely satisfy anyone.

The well developed technology of rapid prototyping, that’s to say the 3D printing, will allow, in a not so far future, to create, in small series or in unique pieces, customised products, designed and developed under the final customer’s sight. These products will satisfy the most particular needs in the tiniest market niches.
The factory produces the chassis, the concessionaire dresses it according to the customer’s will.

Mauto, l'automobile pour la Moto

by Belosio Alessandro

Mauto is born from the idea to create a mean of transport which allows anyone, who has the passion and the possibility, to travel on a car carrying a motorbike.
I have designed Mauto for three people who are very active in the engine world: the pilot (even the beginner), the motorbike seller and the mechanics. Every one of them has to carry simply, quickly and cheaply a motorbike to do their jobs.
Following the needs of these three subjects, I have studied the aesthetic aspects of Mauto, in particular the aesthetic role that can have a transparent auto body.
A transparent auto body is useful for the car seller, because it allows to have a total look of the motorbike he’s selling; the mechanics can use a coloured auto body to customise the car with the colours and the brand of the company.
The pilot, even the beginner, can substitute the motorbike with a passenger, because Mauto has two seats.
Mauto travels well, even along with the sporty philosophy of Peugeot.

J'apprécie beaucoup qu'un constructeur français développe un véhicule hybrique. Mais pourquoi une commercialisation si tardive? Est-ce pour une raison politique...
