Peugeot 5007 HPV - Edwin van der Mark, 48 ans, Pays, bas
The 5007 HPV
conceptcar is a design study for a four-seater 4 door
High Performance Vehicle. Its a crossover between a sportscar and sedan.
The exterior design is a mix off interesting curvy lines and planes.
A low nose with typical Peugeot grille and slanting headlights, accentuated by
large wheel arch cut-outs with little mass above them. Big wheels comfortably
fill these arches, giving a low, grippy stance on the road.
Spoilers in front and rear of the car gives the 5007 HPV a real
sportscar look. A height of just 1.308 m and the use off 22 inch wheels gives
the car a racecar profile.
The glass
house gives a feeling of roominess through the use of a very
low beltline and the use of glass for the roof. The shape of the roof
gives enough headspace for the rear passengers.
The A and C pillar are build as one piece and forming a strong shape.
When the doors are open there is no B pillar and so there is a good
entry to the interior for the driver and his/here passengers.
The interior
is sporty and comfortable and offers light and space.
Its futuristic styled glass roof panel can be blind against to much sunlight.
The 4 individual sport seats are fully adjustable and comfortable.
Clear instruments give all the driving information to the driver.
Navigation, DVD, radio, telecommunication and airconditioncontrol are fixed
In the midconsole of the dashbordcenter.
In the rear
seating area there is also a multimedia center (DVD,cameconsole,
radio and telephone)with 16:9 LCD screens in the head restraints off the
frontseats for personal entertainment of the rear passengers.
The 3.2 V6
twin turbo engine gives the 5007 HPV all the horsepower it needs.
Aluminium and fibers are used for the chassis and bodywork so
the car is strong, light and fast on the track!
The Peugeot 5007 HPV is a 4 door sedan in race outfit.
